Going looking is what uses a credit
Parents also post requirements — the class, the subject, what they need. You can read every one of them for free. A credit is spent only when you decide to unlock the parent's number and reach out first, and some requirements open up for free where few teachers have applied. Credits never expire, and where a connection does not work out the credit may be reversed.

What does it cost to join?
Nothing. Creating an account and listing your profile is free, and it stays free.
The only thing you can ever pay for is a contact credit, and only when you choose to unlock a parent's number from the requirement board. A parent who finds you in the directory and calls you costs you nothing at all.
Do I need a degree or a teaching qualification?
There is no fixed bar, but your qualifications are shown on your profile and they are one of the first things a parent reads. Put down what you actually hold — degrees, B.Ed., certifications, and how long you have been teaching.
How long before students can see me?
As soon as your profile is complete. There is no waiting list and no scheduled review — you fill in the form, and you are in the directory parents search.
Is all the teaching online?
Yes. Every class on the platform is a live one-to-one session over video — there is no home-tuition side to it. That is what lets a teacher in one town take a student in another.
Who sets my fee?
You do. You put your hourly rate on your profile, and the final arrangement is agreed directly between you and the family. We take no cut of it.
Can I teach here alongside a school or another platform?
Yes. Nothing here is exclusive, and there are no minimum hours. Many of the teachers on the platform are doing this around a full-time job.
