Complete your teacher profile
Your profile is what makes you findable. Add your subjects, the classes and boards you take, your languages, experience and hourly rate — and a sample lesson video if you have one, because a parent who can see how you teach is far more likely to call.
Once it is complete you can apply for student requirements, and students can discover and contact you directly.

Get contacted, or go looking
Being contacted is freeStudents who find you in the directory and unlock your number reach you at no cost to you at all. Alongside that, you can browse student requirements and apply to the ones that fit.

Agree the terms directly
Once you and a student are connected, the arrangement is yours to make. We take no commission on your fees and do not sit between you and the family.

Credits, in short
Credits never expire, and unsuccessful connections can be reversed
You are only ever charged to reach out to a student yourself — never when one comes to you. Credits stay in your account until you spend them, and where a connection does not lead anywhere, the credit may be returned to you under the conditions on our refund page.
Questions teachers ask
Is there a fee if a student contacts me?
No. If a student finds you and contacts you through the platform, it is completely free. You are never charged for work that comes to you.
Is there a fee if I apply for student requests?
Some student requests are free to apply for. Others need credits to unlock the student's contact details.
How many credits a request needs depends on demand for that particular request.
Why do I need credits to contact students?
So that students get a shortlist of genuinely interested teachers rather than fifty applications to wade through.
Spending a credit is a small signal of intent, and it is what keeps the recommendations a family receives worth reading. Where a request has attracted very few applications, it may open up for free.
How is the credit requirement decided?
By competition. A request with few applicants may cost fewer credits or none at all, while a highly contested one may cost more.
What if I do not want to buy credits?
You can use the platform without ever buying any. Wait for students to contact you directly, which is always free; apply to the requests that are open for free; and take part in promotional offers or referral programmes where they are running.
What if the student does not choose me?
Not every connection becomes a class, and you should not be out of pocket for that. If the student does not want to start with you, picks another teacher, decides not to continue, or cannot proceed with the requirement, the credit you spent may be reversed back to your account — subject to the conditions on our refund page.
Do my credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your account until you use them. There is no subscription and no monthly fee.
How do I receive payment?
Directly from your students. You and the family agree the fee, the schedule and the payment method between you, and the money does not pass through us — unless you both choose the secure payment option, where the platform holds the fee until the agreed classes are delivered.
